Xlibris Book Reviews: Angel by Brenda G. Wright

Fiction-Thriller Drags Fans into Darkest Pits of an Assassin’s World

Author Brenda G. Wright transforms a harmless little girl into the deadliest assassin to take on the Italian Mafia and action-seeking readers

ST. LOUIS (PRWEB) March 01, 2013

Dark, thrilling and gruesome, Angel: A Hustling Diva with a Twist is author Brenda G. Wright’s new fiction that explores the world of mobsters, assassins and the Italian Mafia. With all its blood-curling action, unusual twists and turns, this book showcases Wright’s ability to engage readers who crave for a gut-wrenching storyline.

The gripping story revolves around the life of Angel Candice Carter who has a very dark past and an even darker future. She was born to Gloria “Glow” Black, who was a crackhead and the neighborhood slut. Her father was Clarence “Cane” Cantrell Carter. He was a mobster; the Hawaiian kingpin who ran the West Side and South Side, and had a whole army of soldiers under his wing. Despite all his guns, gold and goons, none could protect him from the rage of Mr. Salvador, the head of the Italian Mafia and Cane’s father-in-law with his previous marriage. After Cane was brutally tortured and murdered, Angel had to grow up fatherless, restless and with countless unanswered doubts and questions that often only blood can appease.

With a fast-paced narrative and nonstop action, Wright’s book will surely hook fiction-thriller fans and drag them in a gruesome story of violence, sex and gore. Angel: A Hustling Diva with a Twist is a book that will leave readers thirsting for more action from the next generation of assassins.
