It’s that time again! The locals in the village of John John, Trinidad, is preparing for Carnival—a time where the village celebrates their community by making food, wearing costumes and playing live music. The Roti King announces that he will give free rotis (folded pancakes filled with chicken, secret herbs and spices) to the best band at Carnival.
Winston desires to play in a band and to win the free rotis. He quickly finds himself in a junkyard sitting under a tree eating a mango and thinking of a plan to start his band.
